K-Ko (pronounced Kay-ko) is our 29 foot walk around seating aluminium prototype vessel. It is named after the famous Orca from the movie Free Willy. He was originally captured and kept in Mexico. Keiko was then transferred to Newport Org. for rehabilitation and then eventually to Iceland to his ocean pen. Eventually release Keiko did swim free again for a short period until he died of natural causes off the coast of Scandinavia. The vessel K-Ko is extremely sea worthy and designed specifically for wildlife viewing. Guest can stand up and move around the vessel to personally speak to the guide or take photos from what ever angle the animals may come from. Extremely stable it is an exceptional platform for video or still photography. K-Ko is washroom equipped and comfortably seats 12 passengers.
